The annual West Side Talent show kicked off the pre-game performances with a first half lineup for fun football themed event by the MC’s. The referees introduced each act, which included a halftime show featuring the Electric City Band. This clever showcase featured 40 acts that included singing, hula-hoops, a magic show, musical numbers on guitars, saxophone, piano and more. The dance numbers had the crowd lighting up their cell phones with raised arms to cheer on their classmates. And the dancing babies, well you couldn’t help but laugh! Principal, Dr. John Barnes, even made a special guest appearance on stage to the delight of students. A very special thanks to the “sideline” crew of chairperson, Jillian Milewski; co-chairs, Kerri Albers and Anne Khan; the WSSPTG, the teachers, all the committee members, stage crew and assistants that helped make this a spectacular event. After the show, the Ice cream social was a game-winning ending with a cherry on top! Way to go West Siders!
