Art at Goosehill

First graders at Goosehill Primary School studied the German artist, Paul Klee, for inspiration focusing on building a composition with a variety of geometric shapes in the art of collage. Students connected math lessons, learning that when you cut a square in half you get two rectangles, or by cutting it on a diagonal you get two triangles...
Kindergarten studied primary colors inspired by the Spanish painter and sculptor, Joan Miro. They worked with the element of line and discovered that when lines cross they make shapes! These creative compositions were taught by art teacher, Ms. Laura Cirino.
