The tradition of collecting soup cans for those in need continued again this year at the elementary schools. Thank you to our generous community for helping to stock the shelves at Helping Hands Rescue Mission in Huntington Station for local families. Student Council members spearheaded the drive along with their Student Council Advisors at Lloyd Harbor and West Side elementary schools. Goosehill also collected boxes to add to the Souper Bowl drive. This initiative of kindness during the month of February definitely scored a "touchdown" with the excitement of Superbowl Sunday in the air. We thank our student council representatives, students and the community for their generosity and support helping others throughout the school year.
