Class of 2025 is officially “Moving Up” to the high school! Dr. Bolen exclaimed, “Tonight we celebrate!” He shared how he has watched them grow and mature in countless ways, and encouraged them to stay committed to asking questions and seeking solutions. Assistant Principal, Joey Waters, reminded everyone how we all embraced the meaning of gratitude, and how ending the school year with a return to an event like tonight’s graduation marks a milestone of reflecting upon so many lessons learned this year. She asked the students to think about “what you learned, and how has it shaped you?” Deputy Superintendent, James Stucchio, addressed the graduates by looking back upon the beginning of the school year’s hybrid model and all the unknowns and challenges. “Each of you were forced to go outside of our comfort zone that challenged you to rise up to greater heights, and look where you are now? You made it! You are all so much stronger and more capable than you think…” Joseph Kiely, class president, shared, “We are all family, and this year we all had to look out for each other. Many of us struggled, but we learned to be grateful, resilient, and face our problems.” He ended with a quote by Mohammed Ali, “Don’t count the days, make the days count!” Well said! Congratulations 8th Graders!
