Study of Cartography

During AP Human Geography class, students became cartographers tasked with drawing a map of the world on an orange(sphere) and peeling it to make a flat map. Students are learning about map projections and distortions and found hands-on, how difficult it is to create an accurate flat map from a spherical planet.
