In Mr. Borland's 9th grade English classes, students applied their understanding of perspective and point of view to create visual representations of the bunk house in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. This activity led to a writing assignment in which students are rewriting one of the novel's chapters from the 1st person point of view of their character of choice.
