Chicago (TEEN edition) Hits the Stage!
Once again, Director Melissa McLees brought the high school musical to life with the teen edition of “Chicago” hitting the stage the weekend of Feb. 3-5. The story was originally set in the roaring twenties with the characters Roxie & Velma making headlines on Broadway back in 1975, directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse. Mr. Fosse would have been proud as the cast brought down the house with showstopping numbers including All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango and Razzle Dazzle that had the crowd in awe. No wonder it is the second longest running show in Broadway history! The audience raved with standing ovations - this production felt as though Broadway came to CSH! Kudos to Director Melissa McLees, Pit Orchestra Director Andrew Hochler, Choreographer Nicole Attardi, set design by Katrina Albanese, Lighting and Tech by JT Thompson and of course the entire cast and crew that made this truly a night to remember!
