Popsicle Stick Bridges - STEM design challenge

Science teacher, Diana Diaz, had her 7th-grade students complete an amazing bridge project challenge. The goal of this project was to apply concepts in physics to build a bridge of popsicle sticks that would hold the most weight. An efficiency score was calculated for each bridge, and the bridge with the highest value won for best design! Ms. Diaz shared, “In the end, students understood the basics of engineering bridges, worked collaboratively, and created their own popsicle stick bridges.”
