Label pictures

String two to four words together for beginning sentences.

Write one or two sentences to match the pictures on each page.

Compose stories with a beginning middle and ending. Usually a story has one page for the beginning, one page for the middle, and one page for the ending.

Each child will have two writing folders.

One to keep pieces of writing that they are working on, and the other for writing that has been completed.

Pieces of writing that the children want to publish will be put in the Best Writing Work Box. These stories will be edited and placed in the Author's Gallery for all to enjoy.
