  • Lloyd Harbor School classrooms were alive with lessons and imagination

    Lloyd Harbor School classrooms were alive with lessons and imagination on Superintendent’s Day in Residency on December 6th. Principal Massimo and Superintendent, Robert C. Fenter, participated and observed FLES flip grids & puppets, an LHTV live broadcast, coding with KidOYO, music, SEL science, health and literacy lessons.

    COAT DRIVE - Jr./Sr. High A winter coat and clothing drive is happening at the high school until Dec. 16th for the Northport veterans who are homeless and in need of winter clothing are looking for our help. The VA sends them to rehab programs and helps with housing. They often do not have winter coats! Please donate your winter coats and clothing (new or gently used) to Mr. Homer’s room (j-21 at the HS) Going on until Dec.16th

    West Side enjoyed a visit from the Superintendent on his Day in Residency on December 3rd. After his greeting at morning assembly, Mr. Fenter visited an array of classrooms and lessons where the children were very excited to say hello and share their research and knowledge.

    At the Jr./Sr. High School – “The Salvation Army Angel Tree gift collection was the hot ticket,” said. Mr. Homer (Community Service Coordinator). The staff was eager to help make holiday gift wishes come true for the less fortunate, and all felt so grateful.

    Congratulations to Elyse Schetty and Paige Vegna who graduated from the BAE WiT (Women in Technology) program this fall. There were 15 students from 7 high schools in the program this year, with approximately 40 students who applied.

  • La semaine nationale du français 2019

    Cold Spring Harbor Jr./Sr. High School celebrated National French Week! Teachers and students joined together to promote the language and francophone cultures around the world. French classes enjoyed making their own crêpes “au chocolat”, “aux bananes”, et “aux fraises” avec “la crème chantilly”.
