DDP Engineering Challenge
DDP Engineering Challenge
Technology teacher Morgan Milleisen has been keeping her students busy in her DDP: Design and Drawing for Production class (a new elective this year). In this course, students engage in creative problem-solving, engineering and computer aided design. They learn to apply their artistic skills and engineering mindset to create designs, build and test models, and work both independently and on a team. This particular engineering challenge had students plan, design and build a structure of their choice in woodshop using scroll saws, chop saws, belt sanders and palm sanders. Some of the designs included a shoe display, a chess board, and a small table. Amazing work!
