On May 21, music teacher Amanda Segale and her student performers from the CSH Chamber Orchestra attended the NYSSMA Majors Festival at Hofstra University. The ensemble of 28 members (grades 9-12) performed a challenging level 6 program for a panel of adjudicators and were awarded a Gold rating! This is the first time in over twenty years that the Chamber Orchestra has achieved at this level, and we congratulate these extremely talented students for their dedication and commitment to their craft. Way to go Chamber Orchestra - Bravo! Another reason why it is clear to see why CSH has received the NAMM Foundation Award for Music for the third year in a row! This recognition is a national designation for "Best Communities for Music Education" and a testament to our dedicated music teachers and their guidance.
