  • Unit Title: The Whole Numbers

    In this unit, students will begin to review and build on their understanding of the whole numbers. They will work on identifying and listing multiples, factors, perimeter, area and differentiating between prime and composite numbers. Prime Factorization strategies will be discussed and practiced as well. Lastly, we will discuss the distributive property in an effort to lay the foundation for its use in our Pre-Algebra Unit toward the end of the year. Unit 1 Vocabulary
