Arrival & Dismissal

Students enter the classroom at 8:40 a.m. and attendance is taken at 8:50. 

If there are any changes in dismissal plans, a note is required from home. Please call the school (631-367-8800) and arrange to either drop off or fax (631-421-4229) a note that has been forgotten at home. The Main Office will contact the classroom teacher to notify them of the dismissal change.

Absences

Upon returning to school, students must bring a note with them explaining the reason for their absence.

Water Bottles

Due to the fact that our classroom lacks a water fountain, water bottles are encouraged.

Snack

We have snack every day.

Lunch

To help eliminate confusion, please label lunch bags with first and last names.  

Book Clubs

Book Clubs are a tax-free way to order books for your children.  To

avoid confusion when ordering books, please follow these guidelines:

• Fill in order forms on the back of the catalog completely. 
• Enclose the form and check in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with your child's name and class.
• Make checks payable to Scholastic Book Clubs, not Mrs. Smith.
