Important: You need to make sure that  you have the num lock  key “on”  to use the number pad on the right hand of the keyboard

 Together push the ALT (key + the indicated number.

  For the Mac   push the control Key  and the letter “e” and the letter you want the accent on and it will go in the space you want.

  For the question and  exclamation 

  marks you need  to press shift, control and then the ? or ! to have  it  upside down
