Welcome 8th Grade Students (and Parents too)!
Welcome back to another school year! I hope you and your family had a very enjoyable and relaxing summer vacation. I am looking forward to the 2016-2017 school year and working with each of you. Even if math is not your favorite subject, all I ask is that you try your best, do your homework and please ask questions!! If you commit to doing your very best, I know that you will become more confident and should see improvements in your math grades this year!
This section of my Web site is specifically designed to assist you this year. PLEASE SIGN UP TO RECEIVE CLASS RELATED NOTIFICATIONS BY CLICKING ON "REMIND" TAB ON LEFT.
At the start of each week, students will receive a "Week at a Glance" (WAAG) Sheet. The WAAG will be posted on my website and includes the sequence of topics covered, tests/quizzes, and homework assignments.
For your convenience, I've attached below a copy of the "Classroom Policies and Expectations Sheet" that was distributed on the first day of school. For an outline of the topics covered in Math 8, please see tab on the left.
