Students who aspire to the leadership office(s) of team captain(s) will be considered based upon TWO factors:

1) a notable record of success at tournaments, the State Championships, and/or

    the National Championships, including a consistent commitment to debate

    preparation  

2) a consistently demonstrated commitment to assisting other team members

    at after school meetings (as well as during class)  

    (Simply winning trophies and qualifying for States does not a captain make.)
